Extrafine merino wool – one of the best wools, obtained from select merino sheep. Merino wool is classified based on its quality, which depends on the thickness of the wool fibers measured in microns. The thinner the wool fiber, the softer, smoother, and more cashmere-like the wool is. This is the case with this blanket – lightweight, warm, soft, and gentle.
Merino sheep wool is incredibly soft, elastic, and hypoallergenic. It is so elastic that even when stretched by 20-30%, it regains its original shape. Because of this property, it is especially durable.
